Merriman Grange is a luxurious residential and dementia care home based in Worthing offering state-of-the-art facilities, which include 72 large ensuite bedrooms and 5 luxury care suites. The home also features luxurious lounges and dining rooms, an on-site café bar, a cinema and a professional hair and beauty salon.

£12.67 per hour plus company benefits. Full-time hours – Day shifts. Includes paid breaks, uniform and paid DBS.

Responsibilities

• Care for residential and dementia residents as part of a new care team.
• Support residents to promote choice, individuality and independence at all times.
• Work as part of a close-knit team, supporting colleagues and maintaining high standards of care.
• Participate in a comprehensive induction, mentorship, support and training, with encouraged career development.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualifications (or willingness to attend).
• Physically and medically able to carry out duties with or without assistive aids.
• Team player, self-motivated, proactive, flexible and adaptable.
• Ability to organise and prioritise workload and work under pressure.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
