Join our Team as a part-time Care Assistant at Blackhorse Primary School in Emerson's Green! Start Date: As soon as possible. Salary: Grade 13, £24,796 FTE per annum (Actual Salary based on weeks worked and hours: £15,445.36 p.a.). Contract: Fixed Term until 31/01/2027, linked to time-limited external funding. Hours: 27.5 per week (Monday to Friday), term time only, excluding INSET days (38 weeks). The closing date for applications: 09/01/2026. Interviews are scheduled to take place on: 14/01/2026.

  • Be passionate about making a difference to all children
  • Have experience of supporting children, ideally within a pre‑school, school or classroom environment
  • Have experience of working with children with SEND and specifically neurodivergence
  • Be aspirational for every child and believe that all pupils can learn – even if they haven’t learnt something yet
  • Be flexible and able to adapt their practice to support effective learning
  • Demonstrate recent experience of working as part of an effective and flexible team
  • Build strong, positive relationships with colleagues, children, and families
  • Be a reflective practitioner with a strong desire to learn and continually improve

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to converse at ease with pupils, parents and other users and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
