Job summary

Caremark Northampton Kettering and Wellingborough is seeking caring Care Assistants to provide one-to-one home care in Northampton, Kettering and Wellingborough. You’ll support clients in multiple daily tasks, promoting independence with full training offered.

Competitive pay (£13.00 per hour) with full-time and part-time options, paid holiday, pension, and PPE supplied. A driving licence is helpful, and there is a possibility to progress within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• No formal experience required; full training provided.
• Must be reliable and compassionate.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Full UK driving licence is desirable; not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Washing, bathing & dressing clients.
• Shopping and meal preparation.
• Prompting and support with medication.
• Support with daily routines and wellbeing.
• Respite services for carers.
• Companionship and social activities for clients.
• Assistance with accessing local community and services.
• Maintain client safety and dignity at all times.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week - ( Part time roles are also available )

About the Role:

As a care assistant in Caremark Northampton Kettering and Wellingborough, you’ll provide personalised, one-to-one care in customers’ homes, respecting their individuality and promoting independence. You’ll travel within Northampton Kettering and Wellingborough, delivering care and support as agreed between the customer and Caremark Northampton Kettering and Wellingborough.

You will play a vital role in supporting people who need additional help due to age, illness, disability, or long-term health conditions. The care you provide is equal to what a family member would offer, with the added benefit of full training and quality standards.
