Care Assistant – Shipdham Manor, Shipdham

£12.40 per hour, NVQ 2 £12.50, NVQ 3- £12.60 per hour


19 or 28.5 hours per week – 10pm - 7:30am (includes alternate weekends)

Shipdham Manor provides residential and respite care to elderly people living in Norfolk. The home is very friendly and the staff work hard to meet the individual needs of every resident – many assuming a variety of roles. The general environment and space provided are excellent. Staff abide by the motto, \"care comes first no matter what.\"


What would a typical day look like?


  • Supporting individuals with personal care (hygiene, washing, dressing, etc.)

  • Providing companionship and offering social interaction

  • Maintaining accurate resident records
