About the role

We are looking for kind, patient and compassionate Care Assistants to help provide the very best quality of care by following personal care plans for each individual Resident.

As an Agency Care Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work across various care settings in the Wiltshire area!

The shifts for this role are ad hoc, you will be supporting our clients covering staffing gaps for sickness and holidays.

This particular Cosy Care Home, offers a relaxed and happy atmosphere. With only a small number of Residents this allows the home to provide the very best personalised care to each individual making it feel like a home away from home!

Residents here are encouraged to get involved in the day to day schedule for the home, deciding what activities they would like to partake in, and taking turns choosing what meals they would like and helping to prepare these when they feel like getting involved.

There is no routine here! Resident led care allows each individual real control over their daily lives.

Role details

CARE ASSISTANT - RESIDENTIAL

A Residential Carer is required to deliver care and support services within any health or social care environment. The tasks may be one to one with a service user or with other carers or health professionals, they may be provided within the residential home and garden itself or outside in the community, equipment may be required for moving and handling or health tasks. A care and support plan on site must be followed for completion of tasks, safety, client communication and any end-of-life instruction where relevant.
