An educational staffing agency in Sunderland is seeking a Care Assistant – SEND Classroom Support. This role involves providing personal care and mobility support to children with complex needs, while assisting with sensory activities to ensure their emotional and educational safety. Candidates should have experience in care and possess a nurturing spirit. The position is full-time, long-term, and includes fully funded training. Competitive daily rates offered, alongside supportive contacts in the role.

Pay: £89 to £110 per day (PAYE)

In this role you’ll:
Provide personal care and mobility support
Assist with sensory activities and structured routines
Help pupils regulate emotions with gentle reassurance
Support teachers with engagement and communication tasks

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
