Job summary

Advantage Healthcare, part of City & County Healthcare Group, is seeking a Complex Care Assistant to support a young man in his early twenties with cerebral palsy in Ashington, near Pulborough. You will provide personal care, medication via PEG, seizure support, and work with a caring team to deliver consistent, high-quality complex care.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a complex care assistant role is advantageous.
• Experience with PEG feeding and moving & handling is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and medication administration via PEG.
• Support seizure management and other clinical tasks as part of a caring team.

What you'll do

Join our team as a Complex Care Assistant and take the opportunity to enhance your skills with full training and clinical support in areas such as tracheostomy care, ventilation, seizure management, PEG feeding, and more. You'll be supporting a young gentleman in his early twenties with cerebral palsy, working alongside a caring team to provide personal care, medication via PEG, seizure support, and meaningful social interaction. Every day brings something new, and you'll be making a real difference in someone’s life while growing your own knowledge and experience in complex care.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a complex care assistant role is extremely advantageous, especially involving the following clinical tasks:

• PEG feeding.
• Moving & Handling Equipment.
