Overview

We are excited to be supporting our client, who are reputable in the care sector and looking for Care Assistants in the Fife area.

Our client has received a care inspectorate rating of "5" with the care inspectorate which they are very proud of.

Locations

You will either be interested in working in:

  • Dunfermline area (Oakley Comrie, Rosyth, Dalgety Bay, Inverkeithing)
  • Lochgelly, Lochore, Cowdebeath and Kelty
Responsibilities

Reporting into your Team Leader/Manager, you will be providing personal care and support to people who require additional support within their own homes. Key duties will include:

  • Provide support to individuals, helping them to maintain independence in their own homes
  • Promote independence in daily tasks whilst ensuring policy and procedures are met
  • Support and assist individuals with personal care in accordance with their care plans
  • Support individuals in maintaining a clean & tidy home environment
Skills and Qualifications
  • Ideally experience in a care related role but not essential as training will be given
  • Be a kind, caring and compassionate person
  • Have good timekeeping skills, and be a reliable person
  • Have your own transport and valid UK driving licence
  • A SVQ or HNC/D in Social care is desirable and would qualify you to get paid the higher rate
Benefits and Details
  • Full time hours (part-time available)
  • Rates of pay: Unqualified - £13.75 per hour (Monday - Friday) & £16.25 per hour (Weekends); Qualified - £14.75 per hour (Monday - Friday) & £17.25 per hour (Weekends)
  • 25p per mile
  • Free uniform and PPE provided
  • Fortnightly pay
  • £100 Bonus - Refer a Friend
