Job summary

APEX is seeking a Care Assistant to support clients in their homes across the community. You will help with daily tasks, provide companionship, and enable outings and activities while following care plans and safety guidelines.

The role offers guaranteed hours, flexible scheduling, and full training. Driving is required, and a DBS check will be completed as part of the onboarding process. Uniform and PPE are provided.

About the Role:

As a Care Assistant at APEX, you will make a real difference in people's lives. You'll support clients with everyday tasks like getting washed and dressed, having breakfast, going shopping, doing housework, enjoying day trips, and, most importantly, providing companionship. This is a rewarding role where you are paid to help others feel safe, cared for, and happy.

Hours:

We offer flexible hours tailored to your availability. You will be required to work other weekend. Shifts are available between 7am – 10:30pm, and we can accommodate morning or evening preferences.

• Early mornings? You could work 7am to 10am and have the rest of your day free.
• Evenings? Working from 6pm to 10pm could be perfect if you have small children or other commitments.
• Full-time positions are also available.

Responsibilities:

• Competitive pay: £14.50 per hour, including travel time enhancement and petrol allowance (petrol allowance element also tax free) with higher rates for bank holidays and Christmas.
