Job summary

Complete Care Amegreen, part of CCH, is seeking a Complex Care Assistant in Llandudno. You will join a team supporting a young man at home, providing 2:1 care, monitoring seizures and assisting with non-invasive ventilation, with training provided.

The role involves night shifts (21:00–07:30) on Wednesdays and contingency cover, using your full driving license and access to a vehicle where needed. DBS and career growth are highlighted as benefits.

Qualifications

• We are looking for people who are excited to enhance and learn new skills. Experience in complex care would be beneficial, but is not essential for this role as we will provide full training.

Responsibilities

• Caring for a young man who lives at home with his family, 2:1 support for day-to-day activities, monitoring seizures caused by epilepsy and assisting with non-invasive ventilation.
• Helping him enjoy activities like walks with the care team and family, and time in his room with sensory lights, music and floor mats.

What you'll do

This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your current skill base and join us as a Complex Care Assistant. You will have full training and clinical support to develop and enhance your skills in complex care.

Working in this package, you will be caring for a young man who lives at home with his family. It will involve working 2:1 supporting him with his day to day activities, monitoring seizures caused by epilepsy and supporting with non-invasive ventilation.

He enjoys going out for walks with his care team and his family. He also enjoys spending time in his room with sensory lights, music and his floor mats.
