Home Instead West Lothian is seeking caring individuals to join our team as Care Assistants. You will provide personal care, companionship and home assistance to help older people live independently at home.
No prior home care experience required; full training is provided and we welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds. We offer excellent rates of pay (£13.60–£14.10 per hour), paid travel time, mileage reimbursement, and opportunities for career development.

We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team of Care Professionals / Care Assistants. As a Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing personal care, companionship and home help to older people to allow them to live independently in their own homes.
You do not need any home care experience or particular qualifications to become a Care Assistant and we encourage people from different sectors to apply, whether that is: NHS, retail, hospitality, childcare, customer service, delivery driving. We provide FULL training from the start.

What does being a Care Assistant involve?
Being a Care Assistant / Care Professional is a highly rewarding career where no two days are the same!
You will be introduced to all new clients, and Care Professionals are matched to clients based on personality, background, hobbies and interests. With a minimum of 1 hour visits you have time to provide high quality, person focused care.

Previous care experience is welcome, but not required. This could be from working in a care home, as a Healthcare Assistant, Support Worker, or in the NHS. It could also be from working as a volunteer, or personal experience of caring for a loved one.
