Job summary

Bupa Aylesham Court Care Home in Leicester is hiring a Care Assistant to provide person-centred care that supports independence and honours choice. You will join a dedicated team delivering high-quality care to help residents live a life they truly love.

We value bravery, caring, and responsibility and offer flexible shifts between Monday and Sunday, including alternate weekends, with permanent roles available as full-time or part-time.

Qualifications

• Motivation, positivity and great interpersonal skills.

• Desirable: prior care home experience or Health and Social Care qualification.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with companionship and personal care.

Key Responsibilities

• Support residents with a wide range of differing requirements from companionship to personal care.
• Observe and manage residents' behaviour with care and ensure to document and report any changes in accordance with the required legislation.
• Support residents' nutrition and hydration needs, encouraging and assisting them to eat and drink according to their care plan.
• Provide essential physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities, both in groups and individually.
• Maintain accurate care plans in line with regulatory & legal requirements.

What We're Looking For

• Motivation, positivity, and great interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Desirable: Previous experience in a care home environment or a Health and Social Care qualification.
