Abbey House Abbey care services in Kirriemuir, Scotland is seeking a Support Worker to provide daily assistance to residents with personal care and engagement in activities.

You will work 12-hour shifts on a rota, in a small supportive team, with commitment to dignity and compassionate care. SSSC registration required, SVQ 2 desirable; training available to progress to SVQ 3.

Excellent communication and reliability are essential, with ability to follow care plans and maintain confidentiality.

• Registration with the SSSC is essential.

• Willingness to undertake ongoing training with opportunities to progress to SVQ Level 3.

At Abbey House, we are committed to providing outstanding care and support to 15 residents, each with their own individually tailored assessment plan.

As a Support Worker, you will play a key role in delivering daily support, including personal care and engaging residents in meaningful activities. Working effectively as part of a team is essential, with strong communication contributing to a positive and supportive environment.

Requirements:

• Registration with the SSSC is essential
• SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care is desirable (training can be provided)
• Willingness to undertake ongoing training, with opportunities to progress to SVQ Level 3

About the Role:

• 12-hour shifts on a rota basis (paid breaks included)
• Supportive, small team environment
