Job summary

Complete Care Amegreen in Holyhead, part of CCH, is seeking a friendly Complex Care Assistant to support a client with complex needs at home. No prior care experience is required as full nurse-led training will be provided, with day and night shifts available from 8am to 8pm and 8pm to 8am.

You will build trust, promote independence, and help the client stay engaged in activities they enjoy, including community outings and local events.

Qualifications

• No prior care experience required; full nurse-led training provided.
• Experience with catheter care, medication administration and manual handling is advantageous.
• Welsh language skills are a bonus.

Responsibilities

What you’ll do

We are looking for a friendly, confident and enthusiastic Complex Care Assistant to support a client with a range of complex care needs in their own home.

Our client enjoys leading an active and fulfilling lifestyle and is passionate about sport, especially cheering on Wales. They also enjoy spending time in the local community, visiting the pub, going to the cinema, attending football matches, and taking day trips to places such as Cheshire Oaks and Liverpool.

We are looking for confident, proactive support workers who can build a positive relationship with the client, provide reassurance when needed, and support them to enjoy the activities they love both at home and in the community.

Both day and night shifts are available, offering flexibility to suit your availability.

Qualifications

What you’ll need

You don’t need any care experience to apply for this role, just plenty of care, compassion and resilience as we provide full nurse-led training. However, experience in catheter care, medication administration and manual handling would be extremely advantageous and being able to converse in Welsh would be a bonus!
