Job summary

Carefound Home Care is seeking compassionate Care Assistants to support clients in York and surrounding areas. Roles offer flexible or guaranteed hours, with paid travel and mileage, and full induction training. A full UK driving licence and your own car are required to join our dedicated team.

Pay ranges from £13.00 to £14.50 per hour, with opportunities for progression and a supportive in-house team. This is a field-based position delivering care in clients' own homes.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training will be provided.
• Must have a full UK driving licence and your own car.
• Ability to be warm, patient and compassionate while supporting clients at home.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship to clients.
• Support with personal care as needed.
• Assist with mobility and staying active.
• Assist with medication or specialist needs where trained.
• Help around the home with housekeeping and cooking.
• Run errands such as shopping or picking up prescriptions.

Hours: Full-time & part-time available (contracted up to 30 hours)
