Job summary

Bluebird Care in Guildford is seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to support customers in their own homes with daily living tasks. You will work independently or as part of a team, delivering safe, person-centred care and maintaining dignity at all times.

Responsibilities include personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication support, and following care plans. A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are preferred.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Kind, compassionate attitude and a calm approach to care.
• Great communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
• Ability to follow care plans.
• Previous care experience is beneficial but not essential; full training provided.
