Job summary

City & County Healthcare Group's Constance Care is recruiting care assistants to support clients in their own homes around Glenrothes. You’ll follow personalised care plans, help with shopping, meals, light housekeeping and personal care, and assist with medications, supported by a friendly local team and a mobile app that reduces paperwork.

No previous social care experience is required; compassion, resilience and a willingness to learn matter most.

Responsibilities

• Follow personalised care plans and support clients in daily living.
• Help with shopping, meals, and light housekeeping.
• Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing and dressing.
• Support with medications and daily routines as directed by the team.
• Work with a close-knit care team and use the mobile care app to reduce paperwork.
• Provide kind, patient, and respectful care to clients and families.

Job Description

What you'll do?

Our care assistants are extraordinary people who do the everyday things that mean so much to our clients. Supporting vulnerable people to live safer and supported lives in their own homes, you'll follow individual care plans and help with practical tasks like shopping, mealtimes, and housework. You'll also assist with personal care and help clients to bathe, dress, manage incontinence, use the toilet, and support with their medication. You'll be supported by a close-knit care team and accessible managers. While our mobile care app will reduce paperwork and help you to deliver high-quality care. Every day will be different. And you'll never know what challenges you're about to face next. One thing you can be sure of though, is that you'll be making your clients' days brighter.

What you'll need?

You don't need any social care experience to apply for this role. We're more interested in your compassion and ability to care. You'll need to be resilient too and willing to learn new skills and develop your knowledge as part of a close-knit team.
