Job summary

Alina Homecare is seeking a caring Care Assistant to support clients in their own homes in Witham. You will help with daily tasks, provide companionship and ensure wellbeing in a friendly, respectful manner.

This role offers comprehensive training through the Alina Homecare Academy, no prior experience required, and the chance to develop essential homecare skills while helping the local community.

A driving licence and access to a vehicle are advantageous to reach clients across the Witham area.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and social support to clients.
• Assist with personal care such as washing and dressing.
• Support daily tasks: meals, bathing, getting ready for bed.
• Collect prescriptions and provide reminders for medications.
• Assist with shopping, errands, housework and mobility as needed.
• Maintain safety and well-being in clients' homes.

You’ll support clients in their own homes, helping them with daily tasks like making breakfast, bathing, and getting ready for bed.

You’ll help with:

• Companionship – being a friendly face & keeping clients company
• Personal Care – washing & dressing
• Medication – collecting prescriptions & providing reminders
• Mealtimes – preparing healthy meals
• Housework – laundry, cleaning & tidying
• Tasks – shopping & running errands
• Mobility – help with getting around
