Job summary

Crystal Care Collection in England is seeking caring Care Assistants to provide high-quality support to residents, helping them maintain independence while feeling safe and valued.

You will assist with personal care, meals and activities, build relationships, and work on a rolling rota with three consecutive shifts on followed by three off. Full induction training and DBS checks are provided.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, person-centred care tailored to each resident's individual needs.
• Support residents with personal care, mobility, nutrition and hydration while promoting dignity and independence.
• Build meaningful relationships with residents, providing companionship and emotional support.
• Encourage and assist residents to participate in activities and hobbies that enhance their wellbeing.
• Monitor residents' physical and mental wellbeing, promptly reporting any concerns and maintaining accurate care records.
• Respect and maintain confidentiality of all resident information at all times.
• Support residents to attend appointments and outings where required.
• Help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment, including light housekeeping duties and assisting with bedroom preparation.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive, supportive and caring atmosphere throughout the home.
• Comply with Health & Safety, COSHH, Infection Prevention & Control and all relevant health and social care legislation.
• Undertake any other duties appropriate to the role as directed by the General Manager.

About the Role

As a Care Assistant, you'll provide high-quality physical, emotional and social support to our residents, helping them maintain their independence while ensuring they feel safe, respected and valued.

Working Pattern

You will work on a permanent rolling rota of three consecutive shifts on followed by three consecutive shifts off.

Available Contracts

• Full Time Days: 8:00am – 8:00pm (Average 42 hours per week)
• Full Time Nights: 8:00pm – 8:00am (Average 42 hours per week)
• Bank Contracts Available

Pay Rates

• Days: £14.31 per hour
• Nights: £14.42 per hour
