Job summary

A residential care home in Northern Ireland is seeking Care Assistants to assist residents with personal care and support their daily activities.   • Monitor and record residents’ wellbeing, reporting changes promptly.
  • Promote residents' independence, dignity, and choice in daily activities.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
  • Engage residents in social and therapeutic activities.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Ability to work shifts, including weekends and evenings.
  • Basic understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Previous experience in a care or support role.
  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Health & Social Care.
  • Training in moving and handling.
  • First aid or CPR training
  • Confidence using basic digital care systems.
