We are recruiting a team of Care Assistants to provide care for our young client in Little Bentley, Essex, just outside Colchester. Our client is a 6‑year‑old boy with complex needs stemming from a brain injury and cerebral palsy, who communicates using eye gaze and requires assistance with his PEG tube. He is playful, energetic, loves science experiments, and enjoys swimming. We are looking for someone who can make each day interactive and engaging for him.
Shift availability:
- Weekdays: 15:30 – 21:30.
 
- Weekends: 08:00 – 20:00.
 
Responsibilities
- To be an advocate for the client, working in their best interest and in accordance with Superior Healthcare's policies and procedures.
 
- To confidently and clearly communicate with the client, using aids where necessary.
 
- To show the client dignity and respect when providing personal care.
 
- To regularly refer to and follow care plans written by the Nurse Manager to ensure exceptional person‑centred care is provided.
 
- Clear spoken English.
 
- Full Right to Work in the UK.
 
- 6 months professional UK‑based care experience.
 
- Complex Care experience: Cerebral Palsy and Brain Injuries.
 
Qualifications & Requirements
- Working knowledge of Play‑Doh recipes essential.
