Job summary

Call-In Homecare Limited is recruiting Community Care Assistants across Edinburgh South to provide in-home support. The role offers guaranteed hours, full paid training, and opportunities to work mornings, evenings or bank shifts. You will join a caring team delivering essential support to vulnerable clients in their homes.

Applicants with or without prior experience are welcome; full training is provided. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are preferred, with walking shifts

Qualifications

• Good level of English required.
• Full UK driving licence preferred; own car beneficial.
• Willingness to commit to contracted shift patterns and reliability requested.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities, meal prep, and medication prompts.
• Support with personal care and daily routines.
• Participate in care planning and provide feedback to the care team.
• Record and report daily visit information accurately.

What We Are Looking For

• Full UK driving licence, your own car, and business insurance is preferred but walking runs are available.

Your Role as a Care Assistant in the Community

• Assisting our clients in all aspects of their daily life, i.e. meal preparation, medication prompts and general domestic support
• Assisting clients with personal care
• Supporting clients to take an active role in the planning and provision of their care
• Recording and reporting daily visit information accurately
