Job summary

Trinity House Care Home in Edinburgh is seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to deliver high-quality, person-centred care across residential, nursing, dementia and respite services. You will support daily living tasks, follow care plans and help residents feel safe, respected and valued.

Job description

Trinity House Care Home is a purpose built 55 bed care home located in Edinburgh, providing Residential, Nursing, Dementia and Respite care. The home offers a high quality, boutique style environment where team members deliver person centred care in a comfortable and well supported setting.

Care Assistant Contract

• £13.60 per hour
• Contracted to 33/44 hours per week
• Dayshift & Nightshift Available
• Paid PVG pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
