Job summary

Call-In Homecare Limited in Edinburgh is expanding its community care team and is hiring for Community Care Assistants. No experience needed as full training is provided; you will work across various Edinburgh neighbourhoods with guaranteed hours and flexible shifts.

You will support clients with daily living tasks, personal care and medication prompts, and you will be paid weekly with an inclusive package including holiday pay and mileage allowance.

Qualifications

• Kind, caring and compassionate people.
• Good level of English.
• Ability to commit to contracted shift patterns.
• Full UK driving licence and own car preferred; walking runs available.
• Experienced or non-experienced carers – training provided.

Responsibilities

• Assisting clients in daily life: meal prep, medication prompts, domestic support.
• Assisting clients with personal care.
• Supporting clients to participate in care planning and delivery.
• Recording and reporting daily visit information accurately.

Your Role as a Care Assistant in the Community

• Assisting our clients in all aspects of their daily life, i.e. meal preparation, medication prompts and general domestic support
• Assisting clients with personal care
• Supporting clients to take an active role in the planning and provision of their care
• Recording and reporting daily visit information accurately
