Join our home‑care team in Bradford! We are recruiting full‑time Care Assistants (female drivers) to provide care and support to people living in Bradford.

We are seeking individuals who can make people smile while providing care and support in their home. A Care Assistant role with Be Caring Bradford could be the right fit for you. Supporting customers within the local community across:

  • BD2 – Eccleshill
  • BD3 – Barkerend
  • BD4 – East Bowling
  • BD8 – Girlington & Toller
  • BD7 – Great Horton
Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care that protects people's dignity.
  • Promote independence using enabling approaches.
  • Support people to meet their outcomes, involving families and professionals.
  • Connect people to their communities, accessing local support and services.
  • Deliver personalised care through individual choice and control.
  • Be a strong and effective communicator, documenting, reporting, and sharing information with the right people at the right time.
Induction Training

We are looking for people with Be Caring values to join our team. For this role you do not need care experience; we recognise you will have many transferable skills from previous roles, for example as a shop assistant. We will provide you with the training you need to be an outstanding Care Assistant.

Comprehensive induction training includes:

  • Be Caring values; going Above and Beyond to meet personal outcomes.
  • Dignity and respect, safeguarding and equality and diversity.
  • Confidentiality and professional boundaries.
  • Fluids and nutrition and safe administration of medication.
  • Basic Life Support, moving and positioning, and pressure sores (React to Red).

  • Learning Disabilities, Autism, Dementia, mental health and mental capacity act.

Pay

£12.82 p/hr (drivers) + 45p per mile for drivers.

Working Hours

Shift patterns include early starts, late evenings and weekend working:

  • Early shift: 6:00am – 2:00pm
  • Late shift: 3:00pm – 10:00pm (finish time depends on public transport times)

Working pattern will be agreed, setting a 2‑week rota which includes:

  • Alternate full weekends.
