Job Description

What you'll do

We are seeking a reliable, enthusiastic, and self-motivated individual to provide comprehensive daily support for our client, a vibrant 38-year-old woman living with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (Type 2). She lives independently in her own home, and the ideal candidate will assist with all aspects of personal care, moving and handling, as well as household tasks. Compassion, patience, and attention to detail are essential to ensure her comfort and well-being.

Our client leads a very active lifestyle, so a confident driver with a valid Full UK Manual Driving Licence is required to operate her adapted car. She regularly participates in Powerchair Football, works part-time, travels on holidays, and engages in various social activities. Flexibility in working hours is crucial to accommodate her dynamic schedule and support her independence and vibrant lifestyle.

What you need

No previous care experience? No problem. All you need is compassion, commitment, and resilience. We provide full, nurse-led training to get you started. A valid driving licence is essential, as you'll be required to drive the client’s vehicle.
