A leading retirement community provider in Baldock is looking for a Care and Support Assistant. The role involves assisting residents with daily tasks and fostering their independence. Ideal candidates are warm, dedicated, and possess a passion for working with older adults. The part-time position offers £13.26 per hour with paid training and benefits such as holiday pay and mental health support.
As a Care and Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in enabling residents to live independently and actively. Your daily tasks will include light domestic duties, coordinating resident activities, and assisting with appointments and shopping. Each day will be diverse, allowing you to make a significant impact on residents' wellbeing.
A minimum of 1 year in a UK health and social care role is preferred, with a passion for working with older adults. A Level 2 QCF qualification in Health and Social Care (Adults) is an asset but not mandatory.

Contract: 16 hours
Shifts: Working early and late shifts as arranged with the manager. Includes alternate weekends.
