Job summary

City and County Healthcare Group is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant in Ammanford and surrounding areas. You will support clients at home, following individual care plans, assisting with personal care and daily tasks, and coordinating with a close-knit team.

Vehicle access is required due to the geographical spread of assignments. No prior social care experience is required; we value compassion, resilience, and willingness to learn.

• Assist with personal care, helping clients bathe, dress, manage incontinence and medications.
• Support clients with practical tasks like shopping, mealtimes and housework.

Pay Rate: £13.45 per hour (Weekend £13.55 per hour)

Shifts available: Flexible hours that work for you.

Job Description

What you’ll do

Our care assistants are the extraordinary people who do the everyday things that mean so much to our clients. Supporting them to live safer and supported lives in their own homes, you’ll follow individual care plans and assist with personal care, helping clients to bathe, dress, manage incontinence, use the toilet and supporting them with their medication. You’ll also help with practical tasks like shopping, mealtimes and housework.
