Job summary

City and County Healthcare Group is seeking a Care Assistant to support clients in their own homes across Acton. You’ll follow individual care plans, help with personal care, medications, shopping and light housework, and provide companionship.

No prior social care experience is required, just compassion and a willingness to learn. In return you’ll receive a competitive hourly rate (£13.45–£13.65) with mileage allowance, travel time paid, and access to company benefits including a cycle to work

Responsibilities

• Support clients to live safer and more independent lives at home by following care plans and assisting with personal care, medication and mobility.

Job Description

What you’ll do

Our care assistants are the extraordinary people who do the everyday things that mean so much to our clients. Supporting them to live safer and supported lives in their own homes, you’ll follow individual care plans and assist with personal care, helping clients to bathe, dress, manage incontinence, use the toilet and supporting them with their medication. You’ll also help with practical tasks like shopping, mealtimes and housework.
