Job summary

A care service provider is looking for a Care Assistant to support a physically disabled lady in Hoveton. The role requires assisting with transfers from bed to wheelchair in the mornings, working alongside a team member. Experience in personal care is essential, and although knowledge of spinal injuries is preferred, training will be provided. Flexible working hours are available, predominantly Monday to Thursday.

Qualifications

• Must be an experienced carer, preferably with knowledge about spinal injuries.
• Full training provided for specific tasks.
• Availability between 8.45am and 9.15am Monday to Thursday.

Responsibilities

• Assist a physically disabled lady transfer from bed to wheelchair.
• Work with another team member for transfers.

Experienced personal care assistant required to assist a physically disabled lady transfer from bed to wheelchair in the mornings. Working with another member of the team, you will help transfer either by board or hoist. You will be required to work between 8.45am and 9.15am Monday to Thursday (although there is some flexibility with these days and times). You must be an experienced carer and ideally have some knowledge about spinal injuries although this is not essential as full training will be provided. Occasional holiday cover.
