Overview

Our aim is to make care matter, supporting people in North Yorkshire to live longer, healthier, more independent lives, and you can be a key part of this.

You do not need specific experience or qualifications to start your career in care. If you are caring and compassionate and willing to get stuck in, we will have a role for you. To be a success you will be eager to learn and have the ability to deliver vital care and support to those in need. All relevant training and support will often be provided by your employer to support your development and start your career journey in care. If you are interested, most employers offer you the opportunity to study towards social care qualifications such as level 2 or 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care once you have started in the role.
