Job summary

London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust invites applications for the Trust Specialist Registrar (ST3-ST7) in Cardiology across Northwick Park, Ealing Hospital and other sites.

The appointee will assess and treat patients in the Cardiology department under direct supervision of a consultant and will have opportunities to train in coronary angiography, cardiac CT, MRI, echocardiography and stress echocardiography TOE.

Qualifications

• MBBS (or equivalent) and full GMC registration.
• MRCP qualification or experience.
• Prior UK cardiology experience essential.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat patients admitted to Cardiology under direct supervision of a consultant.
• Gain experience in coronary angiography, cardiac CT, cardiac MRI, echocardiography and TOE.
• Involve in outpatient activities and one-stop pathways for comprehensive assessment and follow-up.
• Develop specialist interests such as Heart Failure.
