Job summary

NHS Shetland is seeking an experienced Advanced Clinical Nurse Specialist in Cardiology to lead the cardiac nursing team across services, delivering safe, evidence-based, person-centred care.

The role includes running heart failure nurse-led clinics, delivering cardiac rehabilitation, and supporting the cardioversion service, with opportunities to develop advanced practice and teaching within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organisation and teaching skills.
• Proven evidence of professional development, advanced practice, determination, drive and commitment.
• Ability to work autonomously and within the multidisciplinary team setting across all settings.
• Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update.
