Qualifications

• Competence in complex cardiac device implantation and follow-up of patients with simple and complex devices.
• Ability to recognise and manage device-related complications including infection.
• Knowledge of indications and pathways for lead extraction and related governance.

• Provide expert care for patients requiring complex device implantation and follow-up.
• Lead device-related governance, training and service development initiatives.
• Participate in device multidisciplinary meetings and introduce newer implantation techniques.
