Job summary

A leading educational institution is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Associate to explore age-associated changes in haematopoiesis and their impact on inflammatory responses pertinent to cardiovascular disease. This full-time role offers the chance to work within a multidisciplinary team and contribute to innovative research at the intersection of immunology and cardiovascular biology. Candidates must possess a PhD in a related field and show evidence of high-quality scientific writing and analytical skills. The position has a salary of £46,189 per annum and is available for a fixed term of 3 years.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to apply cellular and molecular techniques.
  • Proven capacity to manage research workflows and deadlines.
  • Experience with in vivo models of inflammation or cardiovascular injury.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to mechanistic studies on inflammatory responses.
  • Design and implement experimental studies.
