Job summary

MathWorks is offering a MATLAB Student Ambassador role in the United Kingdom, with a hybrid work model and paid campus activities. The position requires about 5 hours per week, including events and social media outreach to spread awareness of MathWorks products among students.

As a student ambassador, you will host campus events, showcase MATLAB and Simulink, and engage with student organizations using social platforms to promote MathWorks resources.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be pursuing a bachelor's or master's level degree.
• Candidates for this position must be authorized to work in the United Kingdom or be able to obtain work authorization with an internship offer.
• Proficient in MATLAB, familiarity with Simulink a plus
• Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for social media (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, blogging, etc.)
• Undergraduate or Graduate student at stated University in good academic standing
• At least 2 semesters remaining in a STEM degree program
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong time management skills and the ability to work on several projects simultaneously

The MATLAB Student Ambassador position requires a commitment of 5 hours per week to perform the following work:

• Explore and implement creative ideas for spreading awareness for the MathWorks brand and products among students
• Identify and engage with prominent student organizations related to Engineering, Math, Science and Finance
• Plan and organize events on campus to demonstrate MATLAB and Simulink
• Use social media outlets and prevalent communication channels at the university to spread awareness for MathWorks Student Challenges and resources available to learn MATLAB and Simulink
