Job summary

The University of Southampton is seeking a Senior Teaching Fellow in Cardiac Physiology to join the School of Health Sciences. The role focuses on teaching in the invasive specialist area of cardiac physiology, alongside generic teaching, contributing to curriculum development and cross-disciplinary research within the University.

You will be responsible for module leadership, session delivery, marking and examining, and you will help design the programme’s national curriculum and support

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in cardiac physiology and leadership in clinical cardiac services.

Responsibilities

• Support the teaching of cardiac physiology and related learning experiences.
• Take responsibility for module leadership, session delivery, marking and examining.
• Contribute to design and delivery of the programme's national curriculum.
• Provide practice placement support, student progression and progression monitoring.
• Lead quality monitoring and enhancement activities across School, Faculty and University teams.
