Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust in Birmingham is recruiting a Specialist Cardiac Physiologist to join the Arrhythmia (CRM, Ambulatory, ETT, Tilt, ILR) and Interventional Cardiology (Cath Lab) team. The post is permanent and salary will be adjusted based on qualifications and experience.

The role involves catheter lab work, diagnostic testing, and follow-up clinics, with potential participation in on-call services. Salary ranges from £39,959 to £48,117 per year.

Qualifications

• BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent
• ASCST parts 1 and 2 professional qualifications or equivalent
• Valid RCCP registration
• BHRS accreditation

Responsibilities

• Work in the cardiac catheter lab with angiograms and PCI procedures, and participate in on-call service when competent
• Ambulatory analysis and ECG monitoring, including ETT and tilt tests
• CRM follow-up and implants; ILR follow-up
• Deliver high-quality patient care and education with the multidisciplinary team
