Job summary

Circle Health Group seeks a Perfusionist to join the Ross Hall Hospital team on a bank basis, working as and when required to supplement staffing during busy periods and to provide cover for annual leave or absence.

You will deliver cardiopulmonary bypass support in cardiac theatres, operate the heart-lung machine, collaborate with surgeons and anaesthetists, maintain perfusion records and contribute to trainee mentoring within Circle Health Group's theatre teams.

Qualifications

• MSc in Clinical Perfusion Science or equivalent qualification recognised by the SCPS.
• HCPC registration as Clinical Perfusion Scientist.
• Experience as a perfusionist in cardiac theatres.
• CPD demonstrated and commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver CPB support for cardiac surgery patients.
• Operate and monitor the heart-lung machine during procedures.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anaesthetists and theatre staff.
• Maintain perfusion records in line with SCPS and Circle policies.
• Provide training and mentorship to trainees and staff.
