A leading climate fintech startup in the UK seeks a Data Analyst specialized in carbon analytics to join their passionate team. Acuicy (Techstars ’24) is an AI‑driven climate fintech startup that generates financial insights with data modelling to help companies reduce carbon emissions. We are a small, passionate team dedicated to leveraging technology and analytics to enable data-driven decarbonization across industries.
You’ll contribute to the advancement and optimization of the data analytics behind Acuicy’s carbon fintech SaaS platform. This role requires a blend data and carbon analytics, and understanding of our customer’s real world decarbonization challenges. You’ll be responsible for managing large datasets, leveraging advanced analytical techniques across multiple industries and geographies, data visualization, and ensuring seamless product execution. The ideal candidate will have a commitment to addressing climate change, a strong foundation in research, financial modelling, data analytics, understanding of AI/LLMs, and the ability to engage with our customers to support their decarbonization goals.
You will work within a high-performance technical team, collaborating closely with our Carbon Analyst, Director of Engineering and Acuicy’s CEO & Founder. This is an ideal role for an avid technologist and great communicator who enjoys complex multi‑facetted problems that combine the technological, environmental, and organizational layers to support our customers across different business verticals. The ideal candidate should demonstrate expertise in carbon analytics, environmental and financial data analysis and reporting, and product development.
Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Sustainability or a related field; MBA is considered an asset.
2‑5 years working with sustainability data, carbon analytics, and delivering strategies in energy management, decarbonization, and/or electrification.
