Job summary

Manpower UK West Midlands is seeking HGV Class 1 Car Transporter Drivers for a leading vehicle logistics company. This permanent role offers an OTE of £60,000+ and full training, with base pay £17 per hour for the first 40 hours and £18 overtime.

Routes cover the UK from Cornwall to Scotland, with benefits including a company pension, sick pay, and attendance or loyalty bonuses. Average ~12-hour days; start times vary; weekend work is voluntary.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Applications welcomed from both newly qualified and experienced Class 1 drivers.
• Strong safety awareness and attention to detail.
• Transporter experience beneficial but not essential.
• Licence endorsements and points will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Responsibilities

• Operating 11-car transporters across the UK.
• Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Completing vehicle deliveries and collections nationwide.
• Carrying out vehicle inspections and reporting any damage.
• Completing all relevant paperwork and compliance documentation.
• Delivering excellent customer service at dealerships and collection points.
