Job summary

Eden Tyres & Servicing in Eastwood, Nottinghamshire, is seeking an experienced Car Mechanic to join our Castrol Service garage. You will carry out a wide range of mechanical repairs, diagnostics and servicing in a modern, well-equipped workshop alongside a friendly team.

The ideal candidate has at least two years’ experience, can perform clutch and cambelt replacements, fault finding and uses up-to-date diagnostic tools; a full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a mechanic/vehicle technician.
• Experience with diagnostics and more involved mechanical repairs.
• Experience with clutch and cambelt/timing belt replacement.
• Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out a wide range of mechanical repairs and maintenance.
• Diagnose and investigate vehicle faults using modern diagnostic equipment.
• Carry out clutch replacements, cambelt and timing belt replacements and other mechanical repairs.
• Perform vehicle servicing to a high standard.
• Repair and replace components including brakes, suspension, steering and other mechanical parts.
• Accurately identify faults and recommend appropriate repairs.
• Work efficiently while maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer service.
