Overview

We're looking for an experienced Car Controller to manage a fleet of 40-50 vehicles and drivers. You'll be responsible for allocating jobs, coordinating schedules, and ensuring smooth, punctual service across London and the UK. This is a hands-on operational role for someone with prior controller experience and strong local knowledge.

Park Royal, London

Shift Pattern

4 on / 4 off (Day shift 06:00-18:00 or Night shift 18:00-06:00)

Contract and Salary

Contract: Permanent / Full-time
Salary: up to £45,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities
  • Control and oversee 40-50 vehicles and their drivers.
  • Allocate and dispatch jobs efficiently to meet customer requirements.
  • Monitor vehicle and driver availability, performance and compliance.
  • Communicate clearly with drivers, customers and support teams.
  • Resolve operational issues and adapt to changing conditions in real time.
  • Maintain accurate records and logs (electronic and written).
Requirements
  • Proven previous experience as a controller (car/taxi/fleet control).
  • Strong knowledge of London and wider UK geography and routes.
  • Proficient English: speaking, reading and writing.
  • Excellent organisational, communication and decision making skills.
  • Comfortable working independently and under pressure during busy periods.
