Job summary

easyJet plc in the United Kingdom (Newcastle) is seeking an A320 Type Rated Captain with extensive flight hours and a valid UK CAA licence (A320 LPC) to join our Flight Operations team. The role requires compliance with UK work rights and completion of our assessment process, including an on-site Assessment Centre.

The position is full-time, based in Newcastle, with progression through Stage 1–4 of our selection process. The vacancy closes on 06 November 2026 at 23:59.

Qualifications

Requirements of the Role

For your application to be progressed, you must meet the following criteria:

• Hold a valid A320 Type Rating at time of joining easyJet.
• A minimum of 4,000 total flying hours.
• A minimum of 500 hours on the A320 family.
• A minimum of 500 total PIC hours on jet aircraft over 30 Tonnes MTOW (by easyJet induction date).
• Hold a UK CAA Licence with a valid A320 LPC at point of easyJet induction.
• Hold a UK CAA Class 1 Medical.
• Minimum ICAO Level 4 English.
• The right to live and work in the UK, with unrestricted access across the UK, EEA and easyJet network.

STAGE 4 – Assessment Centre – Successful candidates from Stages 1-3 will be invited to attend an easyJet Assessment Centre. This will take place in one of our Simulator Centres and will consist of both a Non-Technical and a Technical (SIM) Assessment.
