Job summary

University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust is recruiting an Assistant Buyer to lead on the RWT/UHNM Capital Schemes and ensure compliance for capital spend. Based at New Cross Hospital, you will work within the Capital Procurement team to deliver savings targets and support the trust's capital programme.

You will collaborate with departments and regional partners, drive value for money, manage risks, and ensure adherence to EU procurement legislation and the Trust's SFIs.

Responsibilities

• Lead on the RWT/UHNM Capital Schemes and ensure compliance for Capital spend.
• Support the Capital Procurement team in delivering the Trust's procurement objectives and savings targets.
• Work collaboratively with other Group Trusts and host departments to maximise value for money and minimise risk.
