Job summary

Lloyd’s is seeking a Head of Capital Modelling on a fixed-term contract (12 months) to cover maternity leave. You will lead the Lloyd’s Internal Model (LIM), oversee regulatory capital calculations and shape the next generation of capital modelling across the Central Fund.

Reporting to the Chief Risk Officer, you will drive change in capital management across a global market. You’ll work with senior stakeholders and regulators, coaching a high-performing team while ensuring UK Solvency II

Qualifications

• Deep capital modelling expertise at senior level.
• Strong understanding of Solvency II and UK GAAP.
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders and leading significant change.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, operation and annual update of Lloyd’s Internal Model.
• Oversee calculation of Lloyd’s regulatory capital requirement.
• Shape and deliver next-generation LIM aligned to strategy.
• Lead major model change with PRA engagement and ensure Solvency II compliance.
• Communicate complex findings to regulators and senior stakeholders.
• Manage and develop the Capital Modelling team (3 direct, 18 indirect).
