Job summary

Aviva plc is seeking an Actuarial Analyst to join the Syndicate Capital team. You will undertake actuarial calculations, analysis and reporting to support capital modelling and Lloyd’s submissions, while collaborating with a range of stakeholders to drive performance and risk insights.

With progression toward actuarial qualifications, you will contribute to model development, testing and validation, and help uphold a strong controls framework within a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Experience undertaking actuarial analysis, modelling and reporting within an insurance or financial services environment, including capital modelling.
• Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Experience supporting actuarial model development, testing and validation.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work with stakeholders.
• Progressing towards an actuarial qualification or equivalent actuarial experience.

Responsibilities

• As Actuarial Analyst in the Syndicate Capital team, perform actuarial calculations, analysis and reporting to support business objectives.
• Deliver capital modelling requirements and Lloyd’s submissions; support model development, testing and validation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to answer business questions and support risk management and controls.
