Job summary

Georgiana Head Recruitment Limited is assisting a large accountancy firm to appoint an experienced Capital Allowances professional at Senior Manager or Director level in Leeds or Manchester. You will manage a portfolio of clients, support Capital Allowance claims for HMRC, and design fixed asset technology solutions from a tax depreciation perspective.

You will also manage client engagements and build strong relationships with stakeholders across the firm, delivering concise responses to HMRC

Qualifications

• Significant experience in tax and Capital Allowances.
• Excellent knowledge of tax incentives and Capital Allowances claims.
• Strong project management to handle multiple live projects.
• Excellent communication with clients and internal teams.
• Strong numerical analysis of client data.
• Interest or experience in international tax depreciation rules.
• Agile approach to innovation and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients and project delivery.
• Support in preparation of Capital Allowance claims for HMRC.
• Advise and design fixed asset technology solutions from a tax depreciation perspective.
• Manage client engagements and build relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Prepare responses to HMRC queries on Capital Allowance claims.
• Advise on application of capital allowances legislation and tax points.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities, including pitches.
