Job summary

Connect Legal Partners seeks a capital allowances specialist to prepare claims across various property types. You will analyse construction costs, property documents and financial records to draft technical HMRC reports.

You will support client communications, join senior consultants on projects and stay updated with current legislation and guidance in a collaborative consulting environment.

Qualifications

• What you will need: degree in surveying/accountancy/tax/law/engineering or property subject.
• Working towards or recently gained RICS or ATT/ ACA/ CTA qualification.
• Four to eight years in capital allowances or related field; exposure to commercial property or construction projects; consultancy experience.

Responsibilities

• Help prepare capital allowances claims across a range of property types.
• Analyse construction costs, property documents and financial records.
• Draft technical reports for submission to HMRC.
• Support client communications and meetings.
• Work with senior consultants on team projects and keep up to date with legislation and guidance.

Education

Degree in surveying, accountancy, tax, law, engineering or a property subject

RICS or ATT/ ACA/ CTA (in progress or gained)
