Job summary

Bolton Associates is working with a well-performing and growing specialty London market (re)insurer, seeking a Capital Actuary / Senior Capital Analyst.

The role covers building, operating and maintaining the Tyche capital model, standard formula, and producing risk and capital analytics to inform business planning and reinsurance strategy. Candidates with 4+ years in non-life capital modelling are invited to apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of non-life capital modelling experience.
• Candidates from personal lines backgrounds transitioning to the London market will be considered.
• Proactive and independent learner who takes initiative.
• Experience with Python and SQL is advantageous.

Bolton Associates is working with a well-performing and growing specialty London market (re)insurer that is seeking a Capital Actuary / Senior Capital Analyst.

This role includes a variety of responsibilities including building, operating and maintaining the Tyche capital model, standard formula, the production of risk and capital analytics to support key decisions such as business planning or reinsurance strategy, and training of more junior members.

You will have a minimum 4 years of non-life capital modelling experience and those from a personal lines background eager to transition into the London market will also be considered. You should be someone who is proactive and enjoys using your initiative. Working knowledge of programming languages such as Python and SQL will be highly advantageous. It's a great opportunity for someone at this level looking for a step up to take on more ownership and be number 2 in the team.
